Can anxiety plague musicians too?

Anxiety disorder is the most predominant mental illness in the United States, with 40 million American adults aged 18 years or older suffering from anxiety. A new study published by Help Musicians UK reveals that musicians or other professionals from the music industry are three times more likely to suffer from anxiety than the general public. In the study titled “Can music make you sick?,” the researchers claimed that 71.1 percent of the people related to music, experience anxiety and panic attacks at some point in life.      Read more
